We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and well-qualified midwife to influence the next generation.
The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides a comprehensive range of academic programs to prepare health care professionals for positions in nursing and midwifery. The School has a commitment to developing strong partnerships locally, nationally and internationally through its collaboration with health professions, industry and the broader community. This is an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced midwife to have an influence on the next generation by teaching into our first year BSc Midwifery course.
This area would prefer the successful applicant to be available on Wednesdays but this can be negotiated for the right applicant.
The successful applicant:
- Would possess a postgraduate qualification in midwifery;
- Must be eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a midwife
- Must have a strong and effective strategy for teaching relevant theoretical, physical and psychosocial health issues relevant to childbearing

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $97,579 to $115,578 pa (pro-rata) plus statutory University superannuation contribution.
