The University of Canberra is seeking an experienced Technical Data Controller to develop and maintain data and documentation that defines the physical configuration baseline of the university estate. The Technical Data Controller is expected to apply a depth of data experience developed through relevant experience.

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, the Technical Data Controller will develop and maintain the University estate asset register for use with the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Strategic Asset Management Plan. In collaboration with the Technical Asset Planner, record maintenance regimes and routines for all assets in the CMMS.

As an experienced Technical Data Controller, you will develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures for the storage and management of EFM documentation; draw and document standards and associated procedures to be adhered to by contractors, consultants and staff; update and control asset technical documentation; assist EFM team members to support EFM activities and to maintain the accuracy of the Archibus and Building Information Management (BIM) system data. As a successful applicant, your demonstrated experience in data control and your ability to work with different databases for records management , combined with your high level of attention to detail, high organisational and process driven skills are imperative to your success in this role.
