The University of Bristol has announced plans to establish the world’s first open access Quantum Technologies Innovation Centre (QTIC), focusing on taking quantum research from the lab and into the commercial world and positioning the UK as a global leader in the field.  The Centre will be based in the University’s new enterprise campus, to be built in the heart of the city.  We are looking to recruit a talented and skilled Programme Manager to support the establishment of QTIC, liaising with the university team, partners and funders to create world-class environments for quantum technology businesses and help develop a sustainable business model for the centre.  The post if offered on a four year fixed term contract.
 
You should have a relevant degree (or equivalent qualification or professional experience) and have either relevant Business Development or funder experience including proven experience of preparation of business plans and applications for large funding opportunities. You will be a self-starter, a good strategic thinker, and be able to respond effectively to short deadlines.  A PhD or MBA would be a bonus.
