Salary - £28,098 - £32,548 per annum
Full time, permanent opportunity
We are seeking to recruit a highly skilled, organised, and proactive individual, with experience in developing, supporting and maintaining software systems. You will play a major role in supporting and providing enhancements to our Estates & Facilities system (Archibus), ensuring that we meet changing business needs and priorities and can continue developing our fantastic campus and exceptional provision.
Working within the Directorate of Information, Learning and Estates (ILE) you will provide specialist support and advice to system users, including the development and delivery of training materials. You will have excellent communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
You will be experienced at working with a complex information system (preferably Archibus) at an advanced level, and will have knowledge of software development methodologies and principles. Alongside this you will have excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills, with an aptitude for creative problem solving. You will use these abilities to aid the Directorate in presenting space management options and, therefore, you will be able to create space modelling scenarios, evaluate the feasibility of space requests, and make recommendations.
