About the job

The Recruitment Team Leader contributes to the achievement of domestic student enrolment targets for SUT programs in Australia though effective management of a program of engagement with school student prospects. 

The position has a hands-on role in representing the University at recruitment events and is a key role in raising the awareness and visibility of the Swinburne brand in the schools market. Additionally the position oversees the schools recruitment team activities to generate enquiries from school students, liaises with key contacts in schools, and develops and implements an annual calendar of recruitment activities that aligns with the broader SUT Schools Engagement Strategy. 

The role plays a key role in the development of the SUT Schools Engagement Strategy. 

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • A degree in Marketing/ communications, Business Management or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing an indirect sales channel in a services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and negotiation skills.
