Enrolment and Student Engagement Officer, Graduation
About the position
The Student Business Centre provides administrative support and advice to students and Faculty staff on a range of matters including enrolment, timetabling, examinations, international student compliance, graduation, FEE-HELP, US Loans, Scholarships and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
The Enrolment and Student Engagement Officer will work as part of a team to provide commencing and continuing students with timely and accurate information and organisation of enrolment processes in relation to their program of study around matters such as study packages, enrolment, advanced standing, scholarships, timetabling, withdrawals, examinations, progression and exclusions. Furthermore, this role will have a particular focus on organising and planning graduations which will involve managing and updating graduation reports, liaising with Faculties to identify and confirm eligible graduands and PhD candidates along with medal recipients, preparing the Graduation Ceremony Program, and liaising with the external provider regarding robing and ticketing allocations.
About the person:
The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification and at least three years’ relevant work experience. They are required to have an in-depth understanding of the legislative environment (HESA, ESOS, CRICOS), degree structures, study plans as well as the processes and procedures related to enrolment and progression of academic awards. Furthermore, experience in identifying and consulting with Faculties to determine the eligibility of students to graduate each semester and assisting with the professional and efficient organisation of graduation ceremonies will be highly regarded. Demonstrated attention to detail, an ability to work to strict timeframes and a strong customer service focus is essential for success in this role.
The position also requires expertise in the use of software for multiple databases including Technology One Student Management System (Student One) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, along with a high proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $62,317.68 plus 17.5% superannuation
