Department of Natural and Built Environment is looking for a lecturer in Architecture to join our team. Our architecture courses have a reputation for teaching quality and high levels of student support and satisfaction. We have a strong academic community committed to the critical and creative investigation of environmental and social agendas in architecture and the pursuit of technical excellence.

You will play a leading role in the design studio and make a distinctive contribution to teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You should be able to demonstrate expertise and the potential to innovate in the curricular fields of architectural design, history and theory.
You must be able to demonstrate prior success in teaching architectural design at Part 2 level. The ability to inspire and motivate students and deliver high quality, vibrant and challenging learning experiences is essential.

Research is strongly supported within the Department and there may be opportunities to contribute to teaching overseas. We encourage applications from those at different stages of their career.

**We welcome applications for job-share, part-time and flexible working arrangements**

For non-EU applicants, we are unlikely to be able to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this job (unless you are switching from a UK student visa), so you should only apply if you already have unrestricted permission to work in the UK.
