The Role and Your Responsibilities
The College is seeking to appoint an Academic Services Officer who will support the effective day-to-day operations of academic administration and provide data and reporting insights for the group. The incumbent will work across the full range of academic administration activities associated with the student life-cycle including admission, credit assessment, enrolments, assessment and student mobility. The incumbent will be required to oversee the provision of timely and accurate information, advice and service to students and other clients of the College of Science Engineering and Health.
Skills & Experience Required
You will have demonstrated experience in the delivery of administrative services, preferably in an education environment with an ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit, contributing to the achievement of team goals. Furthermore, an ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance is a must. Previous experience and well-developed skills using Microsoft Excel and similar systems for data analysis and reporting will be essential to your success in the role; you will be given the opportunity to lead and develop reporting systems and processes to improve the team's performance.
