The University’s Systems Infrastructure environment provides the underlying resources for access and identity, shared file systems, corporate systems, data management and disaster recovery. In addition the Systems Infrastructure team are responsible for the administration and support of core infrastructure applications including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Server Anti-Virus, Student and Staff Email (Office 365 and Exchange) and Anti-Spam.

Skills and Experience

The Project Coordinator (Infrastructure Projects) will manage a range of Infrastructure projects over the course of each of their lifecycle from tender through to implementation, based on the overarching Information Services strategy. As an example, one significant project is the University’s Backup and Recovery Project. You will work with relevant business owners to identify, analyse and prioritise requirements for the projects, contribute to the tendering process, then develop and implement work and project plans to ensure successful implementation.

You will have relevant post graduate qualifications or substantial project coordination experience, together with significant experience in coordinating the collation of business requirements. Extensive experience in successfully managing ICT infrastructure based projects of significant scope and complexity is also essential for this position.
