The University of Canberra is seeking an Associate Director, Research Analytics to provide high level administrative strategic support to the Director of Research Services and to manage the Research Analytics Team which is responsible for the research performance analysis and reporting of the University. The position requires specialised skills in research analytics and strengths in working across the University to achieve results.

Reporting to the Director of Research Services, the Associate Director, Research Analytics will be responsible for monitoring the research performance of the University and the Faculties/ Institutes against the Strategic Plan and KPIs, provide advice to the Deputy Vice Chancellor Research and Innovation on performance against targets and apply evidence-based strategies for enhancing research performance through the application of data analysis and modelling skills. As a successful candidate, you will be an effective leader to manage the Research Analytics team to ensure team work. You will maintain in depth knowledge of research policy and agenda in the higher education sector and of research assessment exercises and international ranking schemes, as well as oversee the preparation and consolidation of institutional submissions for government-mandated exercises. In addition, you will apply strong interpersonal skills to develop effective working relationships with all relevant academic and support areas of the University, as well as external stakeholders and partners, including government agencies and other institutions.
