Human Resources delivers a comprehensive suite of HR services to approximately 4000 employees working at the University. The role of Human Resources is to provide efficient and effective services to support the employment and management of University staff.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Nathan campus.

The role:

The HR Systems Administrator / Adviser provides systems administration and expertise, training, help desk, and ongoing support for all HRIS modules including payroll and benefits, recruitment, casual/sessional engagements, leave, and performance and promotion processes. This role also provides expertise in the maintenance of the HR website, assists with related HR reporting, additional system feature implementation recommendations, and actively participates in system upgrades and user acceptance testing.

The person:

To be successful in this role you will hold a degree in Information Technology or relevant qualification plus demonstrated experience in using large HRIS systems, preferably PeopleSoft HCM . Your experience in providing high level analysis and proactive front and back end system support are essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong commitment to exceptional client service are required. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines and contribute to project and team goals are required.

Salary range:

HEW Level 6: $73,372 - $78,442 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $85,845 - $91,777 per annum.
