Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Chemical Physics with a particular emphasis on dissociative electron attachment (DEA) and photoelectron spectroscopy. The research project is EPSRC funded and aims to probe the mechanism of DEA in real-time by using time-resolved photoelectron imaging. Specifically, electron attachment resonances will be populated by photoexcitation from the corresponding anion and subsequently probed in a pump-probe fashion. To achieve the necessary time-resolution, a new hollow-core fibre compressor will be incorporated providing sub-20 fs temporal resolution.
