Working with UK-based FutureLearn, which has over six million learners worldwide on its collaborative learning platform, the University is planning to launch its first Master’s programmes in early 2018. The roll out of 50 online degrees over the next five years will deliver world-leading programmes, accessible to thousands of new distance learners across the globe.
The creation of supporting infrastructure within a new, dynamic and innovative business will be pivotal in helping the University Group design, develop and support wholly online distance learning courses at both pace and scale, truly pushing the boundaries to establish a broad portfolio of degree courses with a distinct style and pedagogy. As a key manager of Coventry University Online, a recently established company and wholly-owned subsidiary of the University Group, the Continuous Improvement Manager will work as part of the management team to articulate and communicate product vision from the highest levels, they will be responsible for the delivery of significant improvement or change projects whilst always ensuring the customer first ethos is adopted throughout the organisation.
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to all stakeholders on behalf of Coventry University Online. Alongside the Head of Student Experience and Head of Studio this person will develop, implement and embed the customer experience ethos and oversee the delivery of experience root cause, ensuring a customer first mentality is adopted throughout the organisation.
This post is a thrilling opportunity to manage and develop a new and growing function, dedicated to delivering an industry-leading customer service and student experience across all Coventry University online courses. Both ambitious and accomplished within a large operational setup with significant experience and knowledge of the HE sector, the Continuous Improvement Manager will have an in depth knowledge of Higher / Further Education sectors, competitors, and market trends, OR an intense desire to keep up-to-date with developments. They will be experienced in talking to customers/stakeholders to help develop the product road map, have passion and enthusiasm coupled with the intuition and insight to spot new avenues.
