Alumni Engagement Manager
Grade 7
£31,611 - £40,002 per annum
Full Time, Permanent

Coventry University is like no other and now we’re looking for people to help us tell our story and the story of our graduates.

People are taking notice of Coventry University, so there’s never been a better time to join. We have been consistently ranked highly in the Guardian University Guide in recent years, and we’re extremely proud of our current 12th position, putting us ahead of over 100 other institutions, including 18 of the 24, often referred to as ‘elite’, Russell Group of Universities.

We’re not stopping there however - and this is where you come in. We’re looking for an Alumni Engagement Manager to join our alumni and development team to utilise the influence, experience and energy of our graduates whilst also being a benefit to them.

You would be managing a small team that aims to create, develop and promote alumni programmes to benefit our graduates and university group alike, both nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate will work in a new and ambitious team to deliver some inspiring targets. They will need to be a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills as well as experience of managing excellent people.

While we are looking for individuals with a broad range of engagement and project management skills, we are also looking for intelligent people who are keen to learn new things and who can inspire and coordinate others to make a positive impact. You don’t necessarily need to have worked in alumni relations or HE, but you do need a passion for it. You will need strong communication skills too, as you’ll be dealing with colleagues and stakeholders who are crucial to telling our story and the story of our graduates.
Your day-to-day activity will sometimes be hectic, but you will be surrounded by individuals who are enthusiastic, proactive and experts in their fields. There will also be a requirement and commitment to international travel

We also offer a great range of benefits (including a generous holiday allowance) to make Coventry University a great place to work.
If you feel you could rise to the challenge of helping us to build upon our previous success, please support your application with a CV and a covering letter of no more than two sides of A4, explaining why you think you are suitable for the role. We’d love to hear from you!
