Already of professorial standing or eligible to be considered for a professorial appointment, you will have very strong research and teaching profiles, a successful track record in research-income generation, experience of supervising doctoral students to completion, and an ability to contribute to the research mentoring of colleagues as appropriate across the Faculty.
In addition, your excellent communication skills, creativity and ability to inspire and motivate others will help to establish you as an academic leader in research within the Faculty and wider University.
About the Role
The Faculty of Education is seeking to make a number of Professorial appointments. These positions present a unique opportunity to play a central role in the development and enhancement of research in the Faculty in a post designed to accommodate the ambitions and plans of the successful candidates. Post-holders will be attached to one of the Faculty’s four academic departments (Early Years Education; Children, Education and Communities; Secondary and Further Education; Professional Learning). We want to work with the best, brightest and most exciting individuals and will consider appointments on a part time or full time basis.
