With 17 different disciplinary areas, the School is internationally renowned in the fields of human cultures, beliefs, institutions and languages. Some experience with virtual learning environments and in developing online teaching materials would be desirable. Your research may focus on any aspect of modern or contemporary Chinese culture. Preference may be given to candidates who work on gender and/or ethnicity in modern or contemporary China. You must be fluent in English and Mandarin. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to empathise with students.
