About the job
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical and administrative support to the Research Chair: Therapeutics and Pharmaceutical Science studies at the City West campus and at the Basil Hetzel Institute (BHI). You will have an emphasis upon in vitro skin permeation studies, HPLC method development and analysis. This position provides guidance and advice to staff and students to ensure laboratory procedures are adhered to and a safe environment is maintained.
Skills and Experience
You will have post-secondary qualifications and experience working in a research laboratory with demonstrated experience in the use and day-to-day maintenance of high end analytical equipment (e.g. Franz cell chambers) and high-level skills related to undertaking sample preparation and analysis.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of HS&IM requirements and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in the operation of a research facility.
High level organisational and problem-solving skills including the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a complex environment and working with minimal supervision is also essential.
