About the Job
Based in the new Health Innovation Building (HIB) on North Terrace, you will oversee the Finance and Stores team in the day-to-day operations of the HIB Store, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
You will play a key role in providing direction to the cryogenic storage area, including archival ultracolds, chemical and waste management, laboratory stock control and storage, and financial administration. It will be imperative to work with key stakeholders to ensure the facility operates in a safe and effective manner in adherence to internal and external regulations, policy and procedures.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have post-secondary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. Certificate III in Warehousing Operations) with extensive work experience, or equivalent extensive skills and experience in a similar position. Knowledge in Health Safety and Injury Management, including experience training others in using hazardous practices, labelling, storage and waste disposal, paired with the ability to coordinate and provide direction to staff will be essential.
You will bring a clear understanding of finance administration such as reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and experience in purchasing, receiving and distributing goods.
