The Opportunity

The Senior Advisor, Quality and Standards plays a key role in the preparation for regulatory compliance reviews required by the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) for Monash’s registration as a higher education provider, including Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for a range of activities across the university, including monitoring, tracking and ensuring compliance with the TEQSA Act. Working with a wide range of senior stakeholders, you will coordinate and manage the end to end process of preparing the University’s re-registration submission. You will also work closely with the Director, Quality and Chief of Staff in providing high-level administrative/project management support, including contributing to projects allocated by the Vice-Chancellor and in the coordination of government submissions.

To be successful in this role you will possess postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in the public sector. Your strong communication skills will support your background and knowledge of regulatory and governance frameworks for higher education institutions.
