Applications are invited for an exciting permanent opportunity for a personal assistant to the Deputy Director of Finance and Director of Internal Audit in the Finance and Business Services team.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, the purpose of the role is to provide all aspects of personal secretarial support and administration to the Finance and Business Services leadership team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office and department.

The role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to be an integral part of a large and busy team. You will be liaising with people across the University.

We are looking for an individual who is qualified to A Level standard or equivalent with GCSE’s in English and Maths or equivalent and has RSA 111 typing/word or equivalent

The successful candidate will have excellent planning and organisational skills and experience of working with senior management as an administrator in a busy office environment. Excellent team working and ability to work on own initiative, as well as good communication skills are also essential. Experience of working with high profile stakeholders is desirable.
