Committed to research and teaching excellence and passionate about the arts, humanities, design and media, Coventry University Faculty of Art and Humanities is a vibrant community of scholars, researchers and practitioners with profile across the globe and a heritage of quality built up over 150 years.

The School of Media and Performing Arts has a long-sustained reputation for innovation and enjoys a rapidly rising profile. It has established a highly distinctive approach towards its teaching, research and professional practice and offers exciting undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Dance, Theatre, Music and Music Technology and within Media, Media and Communications, Journalism, Media Production, Digital Media, and Photography.

We are looking to appoint a proactive individual to join our BA Media and Communications and MA Communication, Culture and Media teams, supporting the academic team to deliver inspiring teaching that engages with, questions and critiques media in all its forms. Applicants should ideally hold a degree in a relevant subject and be able to make a distinctive contribution to media practice. Experience of working within related industry or an education environment would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong inclination for pastoral care and continuing engagement with pedagogic development - those without a teaching qualification will be required to undertake Coventry University’s PGCHE and/or secure HEA fellowship.
