The Dayboro Veterinary Clinic is one of the few truly mixed practices within commuting distance of Brisbane.  Situated 45 minutes north of Brisbane the area was predominately dairy farms but now hosts both commercial and hobby farmers offering a mix of 50/50 small and large animals.  The large animal component consists of dairy and beef cattle and a growing number of horses and camelids.  Large animal veterinary work is performed on farm but the small animal, herd health computer analysis and office work is located in dual purpose facilities at Dayboro.  The practice draws upon staff and technical support from the School of Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland.

The role

This position will provide support to the Service Head by ensuring effective management and coordination of all day to day logistical and administrative matters of the Dayboro Veterinary Surgery.

The person

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in a related field together with relevant administration experience of at least 4 years or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.


This is a full-time continuing appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207 - $79,964 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $86,822 - $93,558 p.a.).
