Contribute to the creation of strong, sustainable student communities and the improvement to the first year student experience. Reporting to the Delivery Lead, First Year Student Communities in the office of the DVC Academic, these positions support the design, delivery and implementation of the first year communities strategy to transform the first year student experience.
First Year Student Communities Project Officer CSE
This multi-faceted role provides executive support to the Director, First Year Experience (and UNSW’S lead Cyber academic in the school of Computer Science and Engineering), internal/external stakeholder relationship management, supervises students and tutors for security subjects, manages the development of new subjects and special projects and courses, co-ordinates and manages all aspects of security project work and research projects and students’ groups. Also leads and co-ordinates high school and community security outreach activities - e.g. such as girls in security camp “ACESS for Women” as well as day-to-day operations of a broad range of projects related to first year student communities.
First Year Student Communities Project Officer
This role is an excellent stepping stone to project manager! High level support role managing day-to-day operation of projects and events and related communication for first year student communities including workshops, engagement activities and stakeholder relationship management.
