An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly organised individual to provide an efficient, accurate and comprehensive administrative support service to the Aston Business School Programme Office.

Working closely with the Associate Deans, Senior Programme Leads and the Enhancement and Assurance Officer, you will provide a wide range of administrative support, including covering a professional visitor reception, maintaining electronic diaries, arranging and note-taking at meetings and creating, maintaining and sharing general programme office information. You will also assist with raising requisitions and purchase orders, monitoring stationary stocks and ensuring maintenance of the physical office environment. The role also acts as a link between the ABS Programme Office and central teams in all matters relating to Blackboard (our virtual learning environment) including auditing the information on display to ensure compliance with approved templates and requirements. You will also be expected to support key Programme Office activities, including induction, enrolment and examination boards.

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with at least a Grade C in Maths and English, you will have experience of working in a busy office environment in a customer facing role. Excellent written and verbal skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Excellent IT skills are also essential, preferably with knowledge and experience of working with Blackboard.
