Area Manager, Facilities Management and Planning, Custodial Services
Ensures that Boston University buildings in an assigned Area are kept in a clean, sanitary, functioning, and safe condition for the benefit and use of the University community. This position supervises, monitors performance, and is responsible for training of union custodial staff assigned to the Area. Keeps inventory and orders supplies and equipment repair as necessary to maintain the usefulness of the buildings and the safety of occupants and staff. Evaluates effectiveness of chemicals and equipment, and submits appropriate reports to Senior Management staff regarding needs of the Area.
Vocational or Tech training required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Three to five years of relevant experience.
