The School of Engineering are looking for a highly experienced individual with excellent technical expertise to develop and deliver educational materials to students on work-based programmes at Foundation Degree and B.Eng level. The successful candidate will be required to teach mathematics and general electro-mechanical engineering within the context of Energy Systems.   

You should have a good undergraduate or a Master’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent relevant professional qualification and hold a recognised postgraduate teaching qualification (or a willingness to attain such a qualification whilst in post). The successful candidate will join a vibrant and expanding Energy Systems & Electrical Power Engineering team, and enjoy a challenging and diverse job role, with excellent opportunities for self-development.  

There will be extensive liaison with students and employers, both nationally and internationally and you will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication, influencing and persuading skills as well as having significant experience of working within the Energy sector (Electrical Power, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Renewables etc).  Experience of supporting work-based educational programmes and professional registration as either Incorporated or Charted Engineer would be desirable.
