The role and your responsibilities
The School is currently seeking an OHS & Facilities Co-ordinator to deliver high quality and client focused administration support to the School of GUS, particularly regarding operational aspects associated with the school's accommodation, facilities and occupational health and safety matters.
You will work closely with the Senior School Manager in ensuring that key infrastructure and facilities projects are planned for and delivered effectively and efficiently with the aim of improving the operations of the School. You will also be responsible for maintaining records and planning and preparing documentation for a whole range of facilities-related activities and processes in the School and will also Chair the School OHS Committee.
Skills and experience required
To be considered for this position it is essential that you have high level administrative and organisational skills including the ability to plan, prioritise, monitor, and evaluate to meet the needs of a busy public office with a multi-faceted role. You will also have substantial project management experience, a proven ability to project manage your work in a relatively autonomous, efficient and productive manner, as well as an ability to develop and implement practical and workable solutions whilst working to tight deadlines.
It is essential that you hold an appropriate tertiary qualification and/or an equivalent level of expertise gained through substantial relevant experience.
