Job Description
One position is available for full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistants (RA) in the project: “Properties of connected graphs and networks related to their resolvability and topological descriptors”. For more details, please contact Dr. Muhammad Imran (m.imran658@uaeu.ac.ae).

Duties of the Post doc RA is to conduct research in the area of distance in graphs and chemical graph theory. The aim of the project is to classify the graph families and chemical networks with respect to the nature of their metric and partition dimension and to study some variants of the metric dimension and partition dimension. Moreover, we will be investigation the sharp bounds for the general sum connectivity index and other topological descriptors for graph products and graph operations and to characterize the extremal graphs with respect to certain topological indices. The appointment will be initially made for one year with a possibility of extension for another six months depending upon satisfactory performance. The package may include a monthly salary of 7000-8000 AED (depending upon qualification and experience), medical insurance and one return air ticket.

Minimum Qualification
PhD in Mathematics with specialization in Graph Theory.

Preferred Qualification
The candidates who has demonstrated research experience in distance in graphs and/or topological indices of graphs will be preferred.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
Candidate is expected to have solid background in Graph Theory. He/she must be capable to develop corresponding programming in Matlab/Maple and must be familiar with other software like GAP and HyperChem. Proficiency in English is required (written and oral).

Special Instructions to Applicant
Candidate is required to submit a detailed CV, statement of research skills and one Recommendation letter.
