The role

Opportunity to join one of the foremost centres of fashion education in the world and play a key role in the development of the subject area of business strategy.

As Subject Leader in Business Strategy, you will lead curriculum development, unit management, research and teaching delivery across the Fashion Business School’s portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

This will include undertaking a teaching programme, providing both academic and pastoral support to students, as well as supporting and extending the School’s existing links with those in professional practice and related industries and contributing to research, scholarly activity and or professional practice.

You will also be required to maintain a professional level of subject expertise by being aware of relevant industry and technological developments in the field, attending course related meetings and examination boards and leading the management of the teaching and assessment in the discipline areas.

Your profile

A relevant Master’s Degree in business, strategy, management or a related discipline is essential. A teaching qualification relevant to HE/ Fellowship of the HEA is desirable, but not essential.

Key to the role will be relevant academic experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level of leading modules/units and of teaching a diverse cohort of students along with innovative approaches to teaching, learning or professional practice to support excellent teaching, pedagogy and inclusivity.
