The University of Law (ULaw) is the world’s largest law school. With an impressive history going back to 1876, we employ c650 staff and attract over 7000 students to study on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We operate from ten campuses throughout England with additional global reach through online and face to face provision.   

Building on recent growth and success and reacting to demand for diversification within the sector, we have recently expanded our portfolio and launched The University of Law Business School – a faculty of ULaw offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees that prepare our students for the real world of business. We apply the same approach to business education as we always have to legal training, from our connections to prospective employers, experienced staff, innovative teaching methods and a focus on employability. Our offerings include finance, human resources, media, marketing and management – whether developing a start-up, working in a multinational or choosing the third-sector - these business qualifications will be highly applicable and relevant to employers of today.

As a result of this innovative new venture, we now have a vacancy for a National Director of Business Programmes reporting directly to our Pro Vice Chancellor – International Development.  This individual will be responsible for the quality development and delivery of programmes (course materials and assessments) across all campuses; the provision of an outstanding student satisfaction experience (measured tangibly through employability outcomes and NSS student survey results) as well as assisting the PVC with the development of national and international partnerships.
