We are currently inviting applications for the position of Director of Advancement, Communication and Events.  Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (External Relations), the Director provides leadership and expertise for high level engagement with UNE communities, alumni, industry and other partners to tell the many positive stories of UNE. This role will collaborate with the other directorates, faculties and residential colleges, to carry out effective communications, organise fruitful events and create philanthropic opportunities across various UNE stakeholders, major donors, benefactors, alumni and partners within Australia and internationally.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have senior management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate, lead and develop a diverse team.  Superior interpersonal skills and extensive experience in the development and delivery of strategic and operational plans are essential.  Demonstrable marketing, communication and engagement skills will be instrumental in achieving a sustained increase in UNE’s future advancement operations.
