Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, to commence as soon as possible for twenty months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or related engineering or science field.
They should be highly competent in mathematics, programming, or/and electrical engineering. Preference would be given to those with work experience in computation science, electronics, RF engineering, biomedical imaging, or/and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) engineering.
The appointee is expected to work independently and play an important role in an experienced team that develops cutting-edge MRI system technologies for efficient patient diagnosis in modern healthcare. The present team activities include MRI data acquisition and image reconstruction; novel computational approaches to image formation and visualization; deep learning and utilization of large population datasets.
His/Her job duties include: formulating novel computational image reconstruction and visualization methods for fast MRI; or developing novel MRI system including both hardware and software.
