We are inviting applications for a Senior Manager, Workplace Relations to join our Human Resource Services team.  The Human Resource Services Directorate provides a range of services across the University such as Recruitment; Workplace Relations; Health and Safety; Payroll, Benefits, and Support; Organisational Development; and Workforce Planning and Change Management.  

About the role

Reporting to the Director, the Senior Manager, Workplace Relations provides strategic advice on employee relations and client relationship management matters, to ensure compliance with relevant workplace relations requirements and to support a high performance culture and engagement across the University, including, coordination of significant projects, conducting high level negotiations, oversight of complex workplace investigations, overseeing workplace diversity initiatives and dealing with significant industrial relations matters.

Skills & Experience

Significant experience in the delivery of workplace relations solutions and knowledge of the legislative framework within which industrial relations operate, will be essential. Your strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills will assist you in building effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and you will have extensive experience in the delivery of end to end strategic HR advice.
