The University of Queensland Faculty of Business, Economics and Law aims to be a centre of excellence, providing quality education and leadership in research for the benefit of our graduates and the wider community. The Faculty incorporates the UQ Business School, School of Economics, the TC Beirne School of Law, the Australian Institute for Business and Economics, and the Centre for the Business and Economics of Health.
In this role you will graphic design and manage production of a variety of print and digital marketing and communications assets, including brochures, annual reports, digital banners and multimedia solutions for the Faculty.
Your creative skills will provide new and compelling ways to attract, engage and grow awareness with our audiences, preparing original and template-based designs, infographics and artwork which bring the brand to life.
You will also be instrumental in photoshoots and video production and editing, and create digital content for projected screens and signage.
Liaising closely with printers and suppliers, you’ll prepare digital print-ready artwork files and manage the entire print process to deliver a high quality end product.
The successful applicant will have a degree or diploma in design or graphic arts or a related area, with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
Applicants must have advanced expertise with design applications, particularly Adobe Creative Suite i.e. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and an advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite. Also required is video editing expertise in After Effects and Premiere Pro or equivalent.
We will be looking for a person with a high level of creative flair and initiative, who can devise original design concepts and produce a high standard of digital design and multimedia/digital publications and assets.
This is a full-time continuing appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207 - $79,964 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $86,822 – $93,557 p.a.).
