About the opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Administrative Officer to join our Fees and Scholarships team and take a senior role in the management of international and domestic student fees or to manage a portfolio of scholarships and prizes awarded to University of Sydney students. There are 3 vacant positions, 1 in the Fees team and 2 in the Scholarships team.
Working in either area will involve taking responsibility for significant functions within the team. In the Scholarships team you will manage the establishment of new scholarship and prize programs and advertise, rank and award scholarships. Within the Fees teams, your role will be focused on the administration of student fees, covering compliance, customer service and issues management.
These roles require a constant focus on continuous improvement, a high level of customer service and provide considerable advice and expertise across the University to academic and professional staff as well as external stakeholders.

- experience in either scholarships or student fees or similar
- the ability to identify opportunities for change and implement improvements
- extensive experience in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to apply initiative, sound judgement and analytical skills in solving problems.
