The Opportunity

Education-focused staff at Monash are an elite category of the academy who focus on and contribute to the innovation of education and leading the design and delivery of education at the University. The Senior Lecturer is expected to make a solid contribution to the teaching effort within their department, school or faculty and will be on a trajectory towards leadership in educational design and delivery. This role will have a focus on teaching and in particular developing learning material to enhance critical thinking, analytical and communication skills for students within the school, with a secondary focus on teaching improvements as a whole.

The primary role of this position will be to oversee the ongoing development, administration and delivery of content as the course co-ordinator for the Masters of Addictive Behaviours, as well as assisting with the development of other related certificate and short courses, health promotion and teaching resources as required.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
