Job Description

Assume responsibility for and exercise mature judgment to assure the successful completion of matters before the Chair. Support the work of the Chair: assist faculty, support and coordinate the appointment,promotion, and tenure process,support and coordinate faculty recruitment, plan and coordinate departmental events, assist in preparation of training grants, and maintain filing system. Supervise student employees and oversee the Faculty Service Center. Create an environment of professionalism essential to the operations of the Chemistry administrative office. Assist in the preparation of the Departments Annual Report,record monthly faculty meetings, and provide other services as required by the Chair.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and one to three years of experience required. Familiarity with visa classifications and processes desirable.
