Join our passionate and driven academic team - designing and delivering innovative and inspirational learning experiences that prepare students for a career in food and nutrition.

We are looking for a nutritionist registered with the Association for Nutrition (or eligible to register) and who is able to teach two (or more) of the following:

  • General nutrition sciences.
  • Nutritional physiology and metabolism.
  • Nutrition for sport and exercise.
  • Public health nutrition.
  • Communicating health and nutrition messages.
  • Behaviour change and motivational interviewing.
  • Professional development for nutritionists.
  • Research methods and study design.

We successfully deliver an established and renowned portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and take pride in our outstanding national student survey (NSS) scores and excellent student employability. We achieve this by placing the student at the centre of our curriculum design as well as nurturing strong partnerships with employers. Our courses are mapped against the relevant professional bodies' frameworks and our nutrition courses are accredited by the Association for Nutrition.

Our innovative and applied research enriches the quality of our education, spanning a wide range of disciplines with a focus on improving health.
You will have both a relevant postgraduate degree and contemporary knowledge in nutrition gained through research or working in the sector. Although higher education teaching experience would be an advantage, it isn't essential.

For non-EU applicants, we may be able to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this job if required.
