Senior Research Associate in Genetic Epidemiology

We are seeking a talented individual to undertake intergenerational genetic analyses to understand the associations between maternal and offspring mental health disorders, based within an exciting large research team funded by a 5 year ERC grant http://www.bristol.ac.uk/psychiatry/news/2017/15-million-award-.html
 
As part of the programme the successful applicant will work within the Centre for Academic Mental Health http://www.bristol.ac.uk/psychiatry/ and also collaboratively with many internal and international researchers, including the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit (IEU: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/integrative-epidemiology/). The work will seek to utilise large-scale available datasets as well as in-house data, such as the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC, www.bris.ac.uk/alspac) cohort.
 
The post is ideally suited to someone with a PhD in genetic epidemiology, statistical genetics or psychiatric epidemiology and experience of mental health research.
