  • Two (2) Full time, three (3) year fixed term contracts
  • Salary range: $65,859 - $89,377 per annum

About the job 

Joining the School of Engineering (ENE), you will play a key research role in the development of a suite of sophisticated sensor technologies based on a multi-stage model of insect visual systems. Your contribution to the research outcomes will have a widespread application in a range of other robotics tasks such as navigation and object classification. 

Skills and Experience 

To be successful you will hold a postgraduate qualification or relevant research experience in the general fields of remote sensing, signal or image processing, acoustics or a related field. With first author publications in highly ranked peer-reviewed journals, you will have the capacity to judge priorities, undertake innovative and productive research in a timely manner and the ability to work cooperatively in diverse research team.
