The Centre for the Business and Economics of Health (CBEH) is a cross-Faculty Centre within The University of Queensland. The establishment of CBEH was supported by a generous philanthropic contribution by Paul and Sue Taylor, with financial support from UQ's strategic initiative funding and with strong collaboration with the Mater Research. CBEH conducts both investigator-led and commercial research to inform policies and practices that will contribute to the development of an economically sustainable healthcare system in Australia.
The primary role of the Postdoctoral Fellow includes finalisation of data collection, analysis of qualitative data, the preparation of management and strategy conference papers and journal articles, and the translation of research into industry publications and reports in a healthcare context.
Applicants should possess a PhD in Management, Strategy or Organisational Behaviour with a particular emphasis on practice and process theory perspectives. Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including previous experience conducting research in a healthcare context would be highly beneficial.
This is a full-time, fixed term appointments for 1 year at Academic Research level B. The remuneration package will be in the range of $92,142 - 109,419 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $107,807 - $128,020 p.a.).
