MOD. at the University of South Australia will be Australia’s leading future-focused museum, provoking new ideas at the intersection of science, art and innovation. MOD. aims to inspire young adults aged 15+ about science and technology with dynamic, changing exhibition programs, showcasing how research shapes our understanding of the world to inform future possibilities. MOD. will open its doors in the new UniSA Health Innovation Building in mid-2018.
About the Opportunities
We are looking for passionate and appropriately qualified casual Moderators to undertake day-to-day operations at MOD. (Museum of Discovery) including interpreting exhibitions, guiding visitors through the museum experience, providing retail and administrative assistance at the MOD.Shop and coordination of volunteers.
Skills and experience
As the key first point of contact for visitors, providing superior customer service and creating a fantastic visitor experience will be of upmost importance. You will be flexible and willing to work outside of standard working hours including weekends and public holidays.
