The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences is at the forefront of higher education in Biochemistry, Pharmacy and Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology and related areas, and has excellent working relationships with the NHS and industry. We are looking for a highly professional, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team.

You will have a PhD in Molecular Biology or a closely related area, and proven related research and teaching experience. You will complement existing research/teaching activities in the above area, and contribute to the School’s highly successful BSc in Biochemistry programme, MSc Biotechnology and other related undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will also be expected to actively engage in the development of new undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in relevant areas.

You will be encouraged to develop your own research in Molecular Biology, in conjunction with other members of the School, utilising the world-class research facilities available in the newly built Life Science Building as well as in the James Parsons Building.
