Quality Support Officer (Quality and Standards Team)

Teaching Quality Assurance and Enhancement (TQAE)

The Quality and Standards Team (QST) is part of Teaching Quality Assurance and Enhancement.  The QST is led by the Manager, QST and the team has responsibility for the continuous delivery of high quality services in the areas of quality assurance, quality review, academic partnerships, external examiners, meeting requirements of the professional statutory regulatory bodies and for supporting the Taught Faculty Board.  The team works closely with the Academic Dean for Students and the Associate Academic Dean for students and members of the Postgraduate Doctoral College.

This post is part of a team providing excellent support across the functions within QST and to the Head of TQAE, the office of the Academic Dean for Students and the Function Leads in the Quality and Standards Team.  

You will provide outstanding customer service individually and as part of a team and will be required to participate in the development of improvement initiatives and provide guidance and training for those accessing the services offered by the Quality and Standards Team.  You will also need to develop and maintain robust systems for supporting the function leads across the breadth of operations in QST. 
The starting salary will be from £26,495 on Grade E, depending on qualifications and experience.
