Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
The position is based on Griffith University's Gold Coast campus and contributes to the programs hosted within the Electrical and Electronic Engineering discipline, which incorporates components of analogue and digital electronics, electrical machines and power systems, control and instrumentation, electromagnetics and communications.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast campus.
The position is required to lead and teach courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas related to conventional and renewable systems for the generation, transmission, distribution and utilisation of electric power. Further, the role is required to conduct high quality research in areas related to one of the three designated themes within the School of Engineering and Built Environment or engineering research in another University research centre.
The successful candidate will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field. You will be an innovative teacher and have demonstrated capacity, quality and experience in tertiary teaching. The successful candidate will have sustained achievement in high-impact research or show strong evidence of research potential with refereed publications in international journals in an area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related area, coupled with the clear evidence of the potential to attract external research grants. You will have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Academic and technical staff, and undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Senior Lecturer, Level C: $111,104 - $128,113 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $129,993 - $149,893 per annum.
