The Macquarie University Incubator develops and runs incubation and entrepreneurship programs for students, researchers and staff from across the university. The Incubator provides a globally recognised, impactful entrepreneur program to support research teams to commercialise and attain impact for society.
In this newly created role, the Incubator Global Network Manager will manage the development and global expansion of the Incubator with international incubator partners, connect Sydney-based entrepreneurs and Macquarie University students to international opportunities, and manage collaborative international events.
This exciting role will see you working in collaboration with the Director, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, build and maintain close partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders including clients, entrepreneurs, funding bodies/donors and the international innovation community. You will utilise your strong organisation and project management skills to bring our Global Incubator program to life, and critically evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvements. This highly independent role will require travel to Asia, Europe and the USA, and also includes local event management.

- Degree in business, management or related disciplines and/or extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and success in engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in multi-faceted, fast-paced and complex organisations.
- Demonstrate experience in building and managing local and international relationships, networks and partnerships, preferably in the innovation space.
- Strong organisational skills and end-to-end project management experience, including evaluation of project performance and identifying opportunities for improvements.
- Experience in successfully developing, designing and delivering international projects and programs that comply with relevant local context.
- High cross-cultural awareness and communications skills to engage effectively with international stakeholders.
This position requires a Criminal History check and Working with Children check.
Salary Package: From $99,218 to $110,402 per annum (HEW Level 8) plus 9.5% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
Appointment Type: Full time, 1 year fixed-term contract
