Applications are invited to apply for two Research Associate positions to contribute to a programme of work to improve the health of children and adolescents within the Centre for Public Health in the Bristol Medical School, Department of Population Health Sciences (Faculty of Health Sciences).
 
The post holders will be involved in a range of programmes of research including alcohol, tobacco and substance misuse, physical activity and healthy eating, sexual health and mental health. The post is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in applying research methods to public health.
 
You will work with excellent researchers from a range disciplines and contribute to peer-reviewed publications. The post holders will contribute to ongoing research and grant applications using a range of methods including literature searches, systematic reviews, qualitative methods, primary data collection and quantitative analysis. The post holders will be given a broad training in public health research but will be encouraged to develop specialist areas of expertise.
