A Cleanroom Technician is required to join the Quantum Engineering Technology Labs (QETLabs) team at the University of Bristol. This is a technical role which will be based in the University Cleanroom in the School of Physics and the post holder will be working to provide technical support to highly motivated PhD students and will be involved in training them as required.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a cleanroom environment, although full training will be given. Expertise in photonics, including device design, fabrication and characterisation is an advantage. Experience of working in teams specialising in technology development, and the ability to manage projects are essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a role which will have a positive impact in developing the technician support within the School of Physics. The post is funded until July 2020.
