Trinity College, the University of Melbourne comprises a co-educational Residential College, Theological School and Pathways Schools incorporating a sizeable Foundation Studies and Young Leaders programs. Foundation Studies is an award-winning program that prepares over 2,000 overseas students for entry into the University of Melbourne, and other leading Australian Universities. The program equips students with the intellectual, linguistic and cultural skills necessary for success at University.
Academic Skills Unit (ASU) Officer will support the ASU manager to enhance the current level of academic support provided to international student within Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS). Under the direction of the ASU Manager, the ASU Officer will work collaboratively with teachers to identify opportunities and needs among TCFS students as well as providing professional development to teachers in teaching students more effective academic skills.
The successful candidate will possess a tertiary qualification and a TESOL qualification will be highly regarded. Demonstrated work experience in a similar role with skills curriculum development and delivery with previous experience in will see you succeed in this role. Additionally, experience in training, delivering teaching and learning outcomes will also be required.
Salary Range: Band Level 3 FTE $81,157 including 10% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.
