The Education Portfolio is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice President who leads the planning and implementation of the University's strategies related to RMIT's academic programs and the RMIT student experience. The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.

The Role & Your Responsibilities

The Administrative Officer provides support towards the effective administrative processes and functions for RMIT's program quality processes. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Director Program Quality and Development within a team framework and you will be expected to provide high-level client-focused administrative support. In addition, you will engage with University, RMIT Studios, and Portfolio policies, priorities and strategic initiatives to improve student learning outcomes in programs and courses at all levels.

Skills & Experience Required

As the ideal applicant you will have proven experience in the support and delivery of administrative services in the tertiary education sector. You will also demonstrate the ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively within a team environment including contributing to the achievement of team goals. Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice, contribute to new approaches and to drive creative solutions through to implementation within the immediate work area will be imperative to your success in this role.
